Download and drag to Applications.
Open
CCPrune.dmg, then drag CCPrune into the Applications folder. -
Open it the first time.
If macOS says it cannot check CCPrune, open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down and choose Open Anyway. Confirm Open when prompted.

Pick a chat and see what it costs.
CCPrune lists your saved Claude Code chats with their size and what the next message will cost. When you want to prune one, choose Prune Chat. Your Mac's first 5 prunes need no key. For unlimited pruning, get your free license key and enter it in the app. Dodo Payments emails it to you. Sizes, cost forecasts and undo stay free.
Redeem your key within one year, then choose CCPrune → License… → Save License Backup. Keep it safe to restore your lifetime license offline after a reinstall or on a replacement Mac. One Mac at a time; all future updates included.
Requirements and Command Line Tools
You need macOS 14 or later, Claude Code, and Apple's Command Line Tools, which include Python. If the tools are missing, open Terminal and run:
xcode-select --install
Follow Apple's installer, then reopen CCPrune.
